The art of matching anterior porcelain restorations: a clinical case report.
Clinicians are constantly challenged with matching one or two incisors to the remaining natural teeth because of the multidimensional properties of color and shape. Single-shade restorations will not adequately match the natural tooth structure and, therefore, will not satisfy most patient expectations. This article describes the steps involved in treatment planning, treatment, laboratory communication and materials for the replication of natural polychromicity to restore and match three incisors to the remaining natural teeth.
