Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP), also known as IgA vasculitis, is the most common vasculitis in children, characterised by palpable purpura, abdominal pain, arthralgia and renal involvement. Here, we present a case of a young boy who was clinically diagnosed as HSP. The child further developed parotitis, which is a very rare association in HSP with very few reported cases. This case highlights the uncommon association of self-resolving parotitis among children with HSP.
